First of all skiers aren't 'riders'. They are more like circus artists. All they need is a bozo nose. It's funny how in the ski scene they got 'frontside' and 'backside'....Like how? you are going straight ahead with your toes pointing forwards.
Second, the backflip (and frontflip). It's not a trick, it's a stunt. Sure it's ballsy, sure it takes some skill, but it has no style, it looks horrible. It pleases the x-games crowd, I guess. They like that circus stuff.  but I'd rather see, for example, a snowboarder bust out a clean 180.
